Aside from the total discomfort that is being cold, the worst part of winter is without a doubt having dry skin. It can be painful, tight and itchy. These are the products that have been keeping my skin soft, even during the Canadian winter.
Graydon Hand + Foot Relief ($20)
My hands are constantly dry and cracked in the winter. This cream is rich enough for long-lasting hydration, but doesn’t make my hands feel oily. It includes a Germs Away Aromablend that helps to kill bacteria without being rough on the skin like traditional hand sanitizer. A tiny bit goes a long way, and it leaves behind an incredible, fresh scent.
Herbivore Coco Rose Body Polish ($38)
This all-natural scrub is the perfect solution to dry legs that need some polishing. I love how gentle this product is. I apply the scrub before I get into the shower and then wait about five minutes before I rinse it off. Instead of just removing dead skin, this polish also hydrates because it is made with coconut oil. To make it even better, the scent is heavenly.
Pai Calming Body Cream ($40)
I have really sensitive skin and find that lotion with strong fragrance burns my skin and makes it itchy. This natural cream is the perfect solution for me. I always apply this product after the shower. It absorbs easily and leaves my skin feeling soft. I like that this cream is nourishing but doesn’t feel slimy or overly thick on my legs.
Marc Jacobs Coconut Face Primer ($55)
This primer is infused with five different types of coconut for ultimate hydration. The nourishing formula soothes dry skin and creates a fresh base to put your makeup overtop of. I don’t like to use thick moisturizer because it makes my skin breakout. This is the perfect moisture booster for my complexion. It makes my skin glow, even in the winter.
Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask ($30)
Every night before I go to bed, I apply this lip mask to make sure that my lips don’t crack and bleed (gross). Made with agave and jojoba oil, this thick treatment is the definition of heavy-duty healing. I absolutely love that when I wake up in the morning, I can still feel moisture on my lips from the night before. Bite Beauty products are actually food-grade, which means that the ingredients are safe enough to eat.
